We’re thrilled to welcome Surf Ironwoman Lizzie Welborn to our team of JAYD Ambassadors! Hailing from the shores of Sydney, Lizzie is an unstoppable force in and out of the water. Her passion for the ocean, fierce determination, and love for the sport make her an inspiration to young athletes across Australia. As an accomplished surf lifesaver with a commitment to encouraging the next generation through Kamana, Lizzie brings a fresh wave of energy and inspiration to our JAYD community. 1. What do you feel has been your greatest sporting achievement to date?
Being one of the youngest women to ever qualify for the Nutrigrain series, and placing in the top 3 of the Ironseires and Summer of surf series over 3 times. I also recently competed at the world champs and got 3 podium finishes across my individual events.
2. If you were a shade of JAYD Swimwear, what would you be and why?
Sunshine, yellow is my colour. It makes me feel happy and warm.
3. What is your favourite piece of JAYD Swimwear and why?
I love Breeza, it feels so supportive and comfy, especially when we are training and racing in big surf.
4. What is your favourite weekend activity?
I love relaxing at home, riding down to the beach for a coffee or lunch, reading in the sun, having a nap. Just being slow and giving my mind time to re set for the next week.
5. What is on repeat on your playlist right now?
Heaven Take You Home by Swedish House Mafia (not usually my thing but I love this song)
6. What is your favourite snack?
Right now, it is my home made carrot cake!
