Find your perfect fit

Size Guide

Our suits are designed to fit tightly so they stay as close to your body as possible to prevent slips while you're being active. While they will relax slightly once wet, if you prefer a less compressive feel, we recommend sizing up.

The below measurements are in cm. They are a rough guide as swimsuits can fit differently based on the proportional variances of each unique body. We have included our model's dimensions to help you determine your ideal fit!

A little tip: We recommend you size up in our one pieces, however our separates are true to size. Eg. if you usually wear size 8 clothing, you will likely be a size 10 in our one pieces, and size 8 in our tops/bottoms. If your measurements are between sizes, or really close to another size, we recommend that you size up.

How to wear your one piece

While each of our styles vary slightly (shop by coverage here), knowing where each part of the design should sit and how you should feel helps to identify the best size for you! Check out our comprehensive FITTING GUIDE here for further fit tips.

JAYD Swimwear, fitting guide

Our one piece designs are meant to sit higher on the hip (helps to enhance mobility and elongate those lovely legs). When you first put on your one piece, ensure it fits snugly around your pelvis and rests on or above your hip bone. If the suit doesn't sit high enough on your hips, the torso will feel too short, resulting in an overall improper fit.

We intentionally design our suits without shelves or extra padding in the chest area to ensure a close, sleek fit. This makes the one piece fit snugly around your chest to keep everything secure and in place. Your one piece should sit at least a hand-width below your collarbone. If it feels too low, try adjusting the suit by pulling it up higher from the hips.

Your one piece should lay flat across your torso without any bunching. If you notice bunching, it could indicate that your suit is too large.

If your one-piece sits below the hip bone, the torso length may feel too short, and the back may sit lower than intended. Ensure your suit is sitting above the hip bone for a proper fit.

The straps need to be fairly tight to ensure everything stays in place. To avoid discomfort, make sure your straps are snug without digging too deeply into your shoulders. You should be able to fit your index finger under the strap and comfortably lift the shoulder straps 2-3 inches. If you can lift them any higher, your one piece might shift when diving in and it won't fit properly on your chest.

The coverage of your suit is determined by how it sits on your bum. Opting for fuller coverage means more material and a scoop look around your cheeks. Choosing mid-coverage means the cut will go across your cheek. It's entirely up to personal preference which style suits you; everyone prefers the material to sit differently on their buttocks. Some prefer the minimal look and pull the suit up, while others prefer to keep more covered and enjoy the fullness. Our fuller coverage one pieces are designed with more material around the backside, so if you don't have a fuller behind, medium coverage is a great option to showcase your beautiful bum without being too cheeky.
